I was reading somewhere else where a big debate was going on between mods here and former mods. Is this an ownership decision or a mod's decison not to let certain former owners/mods to be allowed to post here? I, btw, like all the owners/mods here and elsewhere and think we should all get along. Have A Great Day!

For The Record.

The Shrink and General Pete were banned after a week or so when they quit their jobs abruptly and went off to create their own site (EOG). They were banned mainly because their presence on this forum only aided them to promote their new forum that was supposed to not be any competition for The Rx.com. We all know how that turned out. The decision was made by Rx.com management with the backing by all of the Rx. mods working here back at that time which was June of 2005.

Bucsfan is not banned after he decided to quit The Rx.com and go to work at EOG because they needed a new mod (had nothing to do with stealing his baseball following i'm told). Their other mods I really don't even know who they are but are not banned as far as I know.

However we won't be allowing any interforum drama to spill over to this site. I guess the subject of who does or doesn't attend the Rx.com Bash this weekend is a major issue over at EOG. I made three posts there Saturday because I felt an ex moderator and poster from this site and also this person was a Mod and a key employee at one time at EOG who is now deceased was severely disrespected by the moderators at EOG. They did this by allowing an imposter to post lies that he never used the deceased mods name to register with as an email address here at The Rx.com. He blatantly posted that he never used the email address of the deceased moderator at EOG and they chose to ignore real proof that the poster was lying, we even sent the a screenshot privately of the registration. I posted proof that he did use the name in the form of his registration email on their main forum.

That poster was banned immediately here at The rx.com after a couple of posts made accusing one of our moderators of lying about who he is or some other nonsense.

Unfortunately, I was not the person who registered this poster or I would have banned him when I saw his email address. He happened to register when I was briefly away from the site last Saturday afternoon, so another moderator registered him and did not notice the email address, which is something I always check on new registrations because we get some real wierd one at times..

In all honesty I really did not want to register but felt obligated to clear the air and allow the truth to be told about a poster we banned for using that email address who obviously also had an agenda against one of our moderators because he won't be able to make it to this year's Bash.

Bottom line is I remain embarrased for those moderators who allowed this person to post his lies on their site in light of the circumstances and most likey have been called plenty of names for stating how I felt about the matter but the truth is I have not been back since I made my third and final post on the subject at EOG. They are more than welcome to ban me if they want. I really could careless.

This site has worked very hard to stay out of feuds with other forums and will continue to stay on that path but I want to make it clear that this thread will be the only one allowed here on our Offshore Forum on the subject.

Regarding Peep, he is not banned and is free to post if he cares to but hasn't for years.

At this point I am going to put an end to the discussion before it escalates by locking the thread.

CAPN CRUNCH, I hope that answers your question and also explains Rx.com policy regarding interforum feuds and drama.

Thanks, wilheim..
