He is going to be the first Yankee to hit 50 in a season since Mantle and Maris did it in 1961. That is pretty amazing

He'll easily get to at least 50, 130 R, 140 RBI.

The last two people to hit at least those numbers were Sosa in '98 and '01 *, and McGwire in '98*.

Before that the last person to do it was Maris in 1961.
Before that you have to go to 1938 for Hank Greenberg.

I'm not talking just Yankees, but all time, obviously.

Very rare company he's headed for.
