if so, please tell me why you guys all talk like this:

"upon arrival at the scene, it was determined that the alleged driver of the vehicle that was the likely cause of the accident was travelling well in excess of the posted speed limit at the time of impact. additionally, it has been suggested to us that said driver was possibly impaired by alcohol or other controlled substances. it has yet to determined at this time whether alcohol was involved"?

i hate that crap.

just say "the guy driving the car that crashed into the other car was definately speeding and was probably drunk".

cops and the legal system must qualify their statements with "alleged" and "suspected" because the facts haven't yet been proven in court. If they say person X crashed their car because they were drunk and it is later proven that this is not the case, the cops, da and such open themselves up to being sued.

ok...fair enough. but, they still say a bunch of other nonsense. all they need to say is the driver was speeding...instead they say the driver was travelling well in excess of the posted speed limit.

i dont know what you call that on shakedown street, but i call it nonsense

Its called being professional. Dont break the law and you wont need to engage them! Im not a cop but i cant stand people who bash. I mean they risk their lives everyday for 35 grand a year. For what? Us. Society. And cowards try to act tough like " Yea dude, I hate cops". Fuck off *****! Just cuz you dont have the balls to do it. Its their job and if you saw what they saw on a daily basis you would get it. Dudes beating their wives and kids and dead bodies from traffic accidents. Now I know there are some racist bullshit cops. No excuse for that but give them some props. This country would be out of control with criminals running wild if it werent for them.

Stupid waste of time & $$$$ on all parts, but that's what happens in a lawyer driven society.

I agree. 80% of cops ruin it for the other 20%.

its amazing, i got two friends that just became cops and you can notice the slow change occurring after what they deal with every day. one of my friends was messed up for a couple days the first time he responded to a traffic accident and saw two dead bodies, but now he's becomes somewhat accustomed to it and almost callous about it

I don't know, but we almost needed the cops last night, Blue. Turned to go down the alley where we parked, and what do we see? 18 members of a Mexican gang, all wearing the same shit and walking towards us. Nowhere for us to go, dark alley, nobody else around. It was a tense moment, but I guess they figured there were easier targets to jump. Never again will I park in an alley like that.
