Can someone please explain this to me. I just called justbet to do a withdrawal and they said it takes about 3 weeks to get a check fedex:ughhh: Since no one there could explain why it takes so long maybe someone here could.

Is this the industry standard now or are these guys trying to so some "royal" type stall tactics? For comparison i did a 5dimes withdrawal last Monday and received the next day so i find it hard to believe this is the way it is now industry wide.

Please find out what is going on.Thanks

Just want to let other posters know their withdrawal policies as we called again for further explanation.

They do:
Fedex- takes about 3 weeks because (according to them) the check comes from Europe.

Bank wire- Minimum of $3000 and takes 3-4 weeks.

Moneygram- $1000 a week and they charge $65 to do so(even though according to moneygram it costs $21)

I wrote off the books issues with going down too much as growing pains but this payout stuff is crap!

3 weeks to get a check from "Europe" via fedex??? They could tape it to the ass of a pigeon and point him towards Florida and it would be here faster!!Almost 1 month for a bank wire??? If you want to do a moneygram they price gouge you??

This is exactly the stuff Royal used to pull.....

Totally unaceptable.

I need a mods email please as this is getting to be b.s... Now they are giving a hard time about possibly not being able to withdraw because of rollover issues. The amount deposited and bonus was $2200 total, There has been almost $19,000 in action played over the last 6 days. There should be no issue.

Did they charge for fedex?

Do they take funds out when requested or do they stay in for a period of time?

3 weeks is too long for a fedex w/d

don't mean to trash the book, but 3 weeks is totally unacceptable.

I play at books that pay very quickly. No huge bonus is worth the wait, unless you're extremely loaded with your bankroll. JMO

Just got off the phone with them for the third time, I was concerned about exactly what you said so we asked to have the funds removed right away, They said it will come out when processed which could take 2-3 weeks as it is processed thru "Europe". It is obvious a tactic (The same exact as royal used to do) to try and get you to lose the money back in the meantime.
They also said it is like that allaround (Which is total b.s) because of the u.s laws and everyone has to wait and mentioned bodog (I guess they figure if bodog is slowpaying it is a excuse for them as well)
I was going to handle this the rest of the way behind the scenes but since the mods are m.i.a i will just handle it here.

These guys are jokes. We told them fine, do a moneygram for $1000 and we will pay the fees and want to use our free withdrawal for $2000 via fedex. Now they say you can only do 1 withdrawal per week. It just gets worse and worse.:puppy:

get in touch with wil and email him your details, I had a problem with them last month too and he helped get me a moneygram w/d within a few days and justbet waived the fee becuase of the delays I received. Wil can help you out.

I ended up cashing almost everything out via moneygram last week and had to pay the $65 fee but no way was I waiting 4 weeks for a check which is what they told me it would be. Even signed up for their w/d card, what a joke that was. Finally got one a few weeks ago, called up to find out how I could w/d and was told the card was no good and they switched processors.

Thanks for the advice Pat, Do you know his email by any chance as for some reason:think2: no mods want to enter the thread.

Just want to also add the funniest thing i heard from them when asking about why they only allow 1 withdrawal per week..The manager said it was because they have to follow "American law guidelines" as it refers to withdrawing money from a sportsbook.

Sheesh huh???

How about this S.S, After hearing from patswin its obvious that you knew of issues they were having with payouts 1+ month ago yet there was no mention of any problems (only singing their praises how great and well backed they are) when you were touting them and their "gret" deal. It is obvious the problems were not fixed and as a "watchdog" who referred people there that should have been disclosed as well.

Sheesh indeed...:nopityA:

I don't want any problems. We did what we were supposed to do, more then fulfilled the requirements and should not have any problems now that a withdrawal has been asked for. Is that asking too much?

Just so everyone is aware, SKYBOOK does the same tactic with keeping funds in the account until they decide to process it (hoping you'll lose it). I asked them why they said - mgmt decision its not fair for money to be held in limbo when not processed - I almost LOL - so nice of them to be thinking of the player...

Just to update they did remove $1065 for the $1000 from my wagering account so they are doing their part (Even though i think charging $45 over what it really costs is kinda bush league). Still have thousands in there that is going to take around a month to collect though.

SS was not involved in this, i posted a thread about problems I was having and wil asked me to send him details about my situation and he did much more than I thought he would. Not sure of his email but if you do a search you can find it easily. I have found you get much better results doing it that way than trying to bash them in the forum. Have to remember they are a sponsor here so its kind of a fine line they walk in trying to assist players. Like I said get wil's email and send him the details and I'm sure he will help you.

Sorry pats, Didn't mean to drag your name into it. I know SS wasn't involved in your particular situation. When i said "you" in my post i meant Therx not SS himself. I probably should have worded it different. I will find Wil's email and email him. Thanks again

I Had 2 Probs W/Them Yesterday

emailed Wil & Gary CALLED me within 1/2 hr. Nice guy & sharp, Took time to explain their present situation and corrected my 2 complaints. I knew they were relatively new, so what he said made sense. Since offering the huge 50% bonus and doing it thru the RX the traffic has increased to double what it was a yr ago. IMO if we`re going to take advantage of an offer such as this, common sense should tell us that they`re new and trying to generate business. Can`t blame them for that as long as they`re honest and stick by their word. But as w/any new venture there are snags. Oly, 5 Dimes, Pinny don`t have to do this. I purposly didn`t deposit that much $$, so the hit if it came wouldn`t cripple me. Can`t be too careful. I think you will be OK @ least I hope so, BOL.

JustBet.com realises that three weeks is a long time for a check to be delivered and are working very hard on shortening that timeframe. There is no plot to get any players to lose their money in the meantime nor are they delibrately taking three weeks for checks to reach home addresses. Believe me if they could some how just beam the money into player's wallets instantly they would. There is a new reality in this industry since the loss of Neteller.

The new reality starts in Europe where many books have had to go to in order to find reliable processor banks that will maintain balances for offshore books and cut and ship paper checks upon request.

The real problem is that they will only process so many checks perday per book. Once you request a withdrawal your request is submitted to the processor bank and the bank places it in order with all of the other requests, once they get to a particular withdrawal they notify the book that a check has been cut for that withdrawal along with the others from that day, and it then begins is journey from Europe to either Fed-Ex, DHL, UPS or The US Postal Service for delivery to the address in the US attached to the withdrawal.

Some books did not lose their processor banks when many banks panicked earlier this year and pulled out of the sportbetting business completey and have banks that have a more streamlined and experienced system than the new European banks that have decided to do business with dozens of books that lost their processor banks.

Neverbeananother#7 if you do not have the discipline to not touch funds you have already withdrew because they are still in your account perhaps you should re-think whether or not you should be gambling at all. How hard is it to simply not wager the funds because you know you have asked for them to be sent to you? There are two sides to that coin, for every player that complains the funds are still in his account balance after a withdrawal request there are players that say I want to see where my money is until I know a check is cut and I have a tracking number. Books are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.

There is no master plot at JustBet.com to tempt players to lose their money by not debiting player accounts until withdrawal checks are cut. Regardles of what anyone thinks Royal used to do.

Neverbeanother#7 I can submit your account number to JustBet.com for you and ask them to check on the status of the withdrawal but at this point there is little I can do to shorten the timeframe required for a check to reach your mailbox.

Patsfan changed his method of withdrawal and was paid in full, just like you will be if you have a little patience. There is no doubt you will get your check but like everyone else withdrawing from JustBet.com and a lot of other books you have to wait for the check to be cut and shipped from overseas locations and then be delivered by one service or another to an address somewhere in the US.

I wish there was a faster way for books like JustBet who BTW are very easy to work with and are very concerned about making their book as good as it can be but right now there simply is no alternative method to get checks in players hands any faster.

For the record I am leaving for Las Vegas in 3 hours and won't be back until early Monday morning so I want to apologise ahead of time to anyone who emails me over the weekend and I do not respond to immediately.

I am going to try to use the Business Center at Planet Hollywood when I have time during the Bash to answer emails but the real problem is I am spending most of the weekend in transit and only Friday night and all day Saturday at Planet Hollywood are travel free.

I have to leave at 4:30PM RMT this afternoon for a three and a half hour bus ride to San Jose, Costa Rica where I will stay at a relative's house (no internet) until 4AM tomorow morning when a taxi picks me up for the 20 mile drive to the international airport and a 7AM flight to the states that finally arrives in Las Vegas at 4:02PM Pacific time Friday afternoon. That is if all goes according to schedule.

Bottom line is this is the one weekend of the year year I am not available to answer emails immediately but I certaily promise to get to them as quickly as possible when I get back from the Rx Bash 2007..

Thanks, wilheim
