I'm not going to get into a long , 'why didn't you go again' Capn.
I did buy a plane ticket, just couldn't do it when the time came...this was the only year I said I would go , even though I knew it would be real difficult to board a plane.
A train or bus would take 2-3 days from wheere I am...it's a plane or nothing from here.
I totally can sympathize about the single parent thing, which is also a big reason.
for my wife and myself,in our younger days we would go about 15 times a year. just hop in the car and go on a friday night. we could all-ways find a room. she would take about 1,000 and me 1,500 and we would always have a blast. and then one friday night before we even got to vegas we stoped at the state line and lost most of "all" are money !! and then drove back home on the same night !! so now these days we only go two times a year. and it's when they are having a mega fight like coming up in dec 8th mayweather jr vs. hatton. sure wished that we could of gone to the "bash" but for us we have to save are money for our trip in december !! we never go to las vegas unless i have at least 7 k and her 5 k. so for my wife and i it's more of a $$$$ thing.
