Which Marriott are you staying?? The one next to the airport, or the one 5 minutes from the bar where the Bash will be?? Home base is where ever you want it to be....
I was told that the Couryard by a bunch of bars\restaurants was a good place to stay at-but I'm not locked in & you obviously know the place a lot better than I do.
I guess I'm down to Wed night only at Suenos & then I'm headed to SJ.
Then the one you are staying at is next door to a Hooters with a ton of restaurants right next door...and only a five minute drive to O'Connors/Tequila Joes....nice hotel right off the autopista and only 15 minutes from downtown San Jose and a bunch of strip joints...

The Holiday Inn downtown has some good rooms for around 80 bucks a nite...two minute walk from the Del Rey, or a one minute drive by taxi to avoid all the trannys and thieves at night...
