I think mailed cashiers checks, even if not the fastest way to deposit would be the easiest. How can these possibly be stopped by some government inbred retard legislators or some bank employee?

Ive asked the Greek for instance a couple times about this. they accept them. But they have to be made out to "The Greek". Ive explained to their customer service a couple times I am not comfortable walking into my bank ( who already look at me with suspicion after a few transactions Ive made) and asking to have a large cashiers check made out to "TheGreek".

the answer they gave me was that is their policy. I know its their policy, Id like them to maybe change it. But I dont think my suggestion is getting beyond the customer service people who know the policy and are just reading it back to me.

can all the books take these checks! and give us something like "Maria Sanchez" to address it to or a company name like "JTB Enterprises" or something unrelated to gambling sounding to make it out to!

Most deposit options I see are either a pain in the ass, completely foreign to me or just wont work for anything but small amounts.

But you could easily have a cashiers check made out for $3,119.47 to JTP Enterprises and mail it. unstoppable

I dont understand things like buying phone minutes with a credit card and transfering them to dollars at a book or all the other goofy little ways out there, nor do I want to or particularly trust those companies.

I can however drop by my bank which is like 2 miles from where I live, get a cashiers check and fedex it very easily

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Last time I sent in a cashier's check, they put a freaking 30 day hold on it. So this isn't exactly true. I couldn't believe that they put a hold on a cashier's check...:ughhh:

iVE HEARD PEOPLE CAN EASILY FAKE THEM. DID THEY LET YOU BET RIGHT AWAY, BUT HOLD ANY WITHDRAWALS FOR 30 DAYS? NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT IN MY OPINION, ALTHOUGH I THINK 10-14 DAYS IS MORE REASONABLE. THEY DONT PAYOUT UNTIL THEY ARE SURE THE CHECK IS GOOD

I think they should let you bet right away. people who send in phonies, they could just close their account and cancel all their results. if a real check somehow didnt clear, it would be a problem.

I cant think of any reason why a real check wouldnt eventually clear. so why not let people bet, but of course hold withdrawals

Can you put a stop pay on a cashier's check? If you can, a scammer could bet his whole balance, and if he loses it, put a stop pay on the check. This would give him a free shot at the book. But I have no idea if you can stop payment on a cashier's check.

I dont know anything about scamming. maybe that is the problem with cashiers checks.
