Does the SB champ go to last in the draft order?

The reason I ask is because in our FFB draft we align the draft order by how the teams did the year before. An argument ensued and I thought someone on here may be able to settle it.

My team finished 5-9 last year and was seeded 8th in the playoffs. I ended up winning the championship and ended up going to the 12th pick. Is this right, I am confused.

The worst part is I am a huge draft junkie and should know this. Does the NBA do the same thing?

Also what about the SB loser, where are they slotted?
