Holy sh!t....are you serious???

Wow....I'm a long time USC fan (honk?) who always thought you were a complete douchebag.

Let me take this opportunity to apoligize to you Whormoan. Thank you for posting this. The fact that DJ is inactive today has made me rethink my stance on those faggy trojans. I'm sure Bozo the Carroll had something to do with this.

I now officially think USC and all things Pac-10 suck. I can't believe Dj let me down like this today.

Oh well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.....Please consider me your biggest fan now. As a matter of fact....I just denounced the Halos as my fav baseball team also........LETS GO PADRES!!!!!!!!!

Yea its just amazing how this team with so many horrible players seems to kick the shit out of the Michigans, Oklahomas, Auburns, Va Techs, Iowas, Arkansas,Notre Dames of the world when they get the opportunity. Must be just a lot of luck i guess.

It's so comical to read bashing regarding the PAC-10. A ton of people in week one saying taking Tennessee and getting 6 was a gift from the gambling heavens and these are the same guys that took Boise St. this weekend.

Will these guys take Ohio St. next weekend? Be careful.

The Gaston Gazette reports Carolina Panthers second-round draft pick WR Dwayne Jarrett was inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams. It appears he still has a long way to go in his development as a receiver. A couple of weeks ago, receivers coach Richard Williamson said of Jarrett: "He has a big body, so you can’t be a Tinkerbell out there. You have to be like a bull in the closet. He’s got a big body, now use it. Knock those guys around and get off the line of scrimmage and do what you have to do."

It's absolutely hilarious how you Pac-10 guys are celebrating as if you've accomplished anything. Turn down the sound on ESPN. So Oregon beat Michigan. So did App St. We saw Oregon's act in the bowl game last yr vs BYU (8-38). So Cal beat Tennesee. They didn't exactly destroy the Vols (at home), and any team that lets CSU score 28 points isn't exactly going to light up the NFL draft board. UCLA struggled with Stanford for a half and with BYU for the 2nd half (neither of which is worth a crap). And Dorrell still can't coach worth a damn. Washington beat a HIGHLY overrated Boise team with no NFL players and a Syracuse team which is putrid. ASU has beaten two doormats. Oregon State pooped on themselves against a Big-East lower tier team.

As for USC. So Nebraska (who sneaked by Wake and their back-up QB) is their "big test". And Notre Dame who stinks is their other big road test. UCLA, Cal, Oregon, ASU are all so mediocre. Where is this tough schedule I've been hearing so much about.

And let's have a look back at all these guys from the "greatest team ever" of 2 yrs ago. Darnell Bing - nowhere to be found in NFL, Winston Justice (1st rd pick) - nowhere to be found, Dwayne Jarrett - couldn't even be activated on active roster. Steve Smith - back-up. Reggie Bush - back up and HIGHLY overrated. I'm getting bored listing these guys. Have any of them exceeded expectations?

You Pac-10 cheerleaders are a little ahead of yourselves.

Dear Whormoan,

We just want you to know that we agree with you about USC draft flops, and your acknowledgement of the greatness of SEC football and in particular, LSU. Go Tigers!

Sincerely,

Michael Clayton, Devery Henderson, Skylar Green, Stephen Peterman, Chad Lavalais, Andrew Whitworth, Cory Webster, and Matt Mauck.

There's a few HUGE differences:

Nobody has touted the LSU players as the greatest things since slice bread, and the above players were not top picks. Meanwhile, if you want to mention LSU, you will see them littering the 1st rd AGAIN this yr.

Michael Clayton...first round draft pick. Devery Henderson second round draft pick. Andrew Whitworth, second round draft pick. You've whined about low round USC draft picks too. You always change the subject when it turns to Carson Palmer, Troy Palmalu, Lofa Tutupo, etc.

I agree with you, USC has a lot of draft busts. Every school has a good share of flops, if you want to check out other SEC schools, particularly florida, have at.

BTW, did you ever imagine a week when both Reggie Bush AND Lendale White had more rushing yards than LT? 17 carries for 25 yards? Those are Reggie Bush type numbers.

The Bears cared more about stopping LT than winning the game. Nobody's gameplanning for Bush or White. LT still had a major impact on the game. Shame on you for mentioning those 2 scrubs in the same sentence as LT. Neither of them could hold his jock

Grading college teams based on how the individual parts perform LATER on in the NFL has nothing to with this.
IMHO, PAC 10 best conf this year and as a rule they don't get due credit year to year. The SEC gets most respect by default unless there is a clear-cut superior conference.

I guess you haven't watched too much football this yr. Pac-10 is the best conference? Who have they beaten?
