By stealing a base on Sunday, Curtis Granderson became just the third player in major league history to record 20 homers, 20 triples, 20 doubles, and 20 stolen bases in the same season.

Man on the move...Granderson reaches rare MLB feat.

It's got to be the titanium chain he is seen wearing in that photo.

Just the fact he has 20 triples is amazing to me. Wonder how many were at home?

I was going to say he reminded me of a Kenny Lofton with a little more pop until I saw he only had 20 steals.

What the hell?

Must have down syndrome when it comes to reading the pitchers or something.

I know he plays in 3B friendly Detroit but there is no reason why he should have more triples than steals, that's just weird looking.

How about this added speed stat. He has not grounded into a double play all season and has been thrown out just 1 time out of 20 stealing. Thought that was interesting.

Will also finish in the top 3 for the CF gold glove. He has been awesome out there.

I knew I read this somewhere else but just looked it up. He has 13 triples on the ROAD and 9 at home which makes this even more impressivie.

That isnt just interesting. It's AMAZING. Compared to someone like Nancy err I mean JD Drew who manages to ground into a DP every other game.

Why isn't he running more then? He obviously has the speed.

I know with the top heavy Detroit lineup he doesn't have to create, but a baseball analyst would say that ratio is TOO high. It means he's not attempting enough. He could easily be at 40/7 or something and helping the Tigers more.

Wow...an amazing feat. I know Willie Mays did it; who's the other player that did this?

Beleive it or not there could be another player joining him this year.

Jimmy Rollins 2007 stats.

35 Doubles
17 Triples
26 Home Runs
28 Stolen Bases

He has about 20 games to get the three triples which of course is the hardest part. It is definetely possible though.

Yikes, Jays fans are rough.

He's getting paid a little over a million dollars and has more doubles than anyone in baseball over the past 4 years.

"Lyle Overpaid" that is funny. Never heard that one before.

Like when Mike Alstott had fumble problems, he was known in the area as "Mike Balldrop"

Granderson stole second and third tonight in one inning, he must be reading this thread.

if he can cut down on his strikeouts, he will become an absolute monster. granted his ability to hit for power naturally comes at a bit of a price (tendency to K) but he definitely has the chance to become an elite player in the majors. almost a carbon copy of grady sizemore with strengths and weaknesses. both guys could be hitting 3rd in their respective lineups if forced into that spot.

I drafted him late for my fantasy team. :) I also predicted Jonny Gomes would hit 50 HRs. :(

Another stunning Granderson stat. He is hitting .157 versus lefthanders on 115 at bats and no triples. .344 versus righty's with all 22 triples.

Now that is a stat! WOWOWOW!

Ironically Detroit feasts on lefty's despite their catalyst doing next to nothing.
