On behalf of the entire Rx.com staff and myself I want to thank each and every one of you for attending our very successful Bash this past weekend at The Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. You were all great and I could not have been happier to meet so many new posters and renew so many old friendships with some of you veteran Bashers.
I know Rick, and some the other mods may also be posting thank you's themselves later.
I for one had a great time (mixed in with a bit of work) and can't express how much I appreciate the very gracious personal thanks I received from a multitude posters over the course of this last weekend.
You were all special but a few shout out's to some memorable posters who I especially enjoyed having conversations with.
Akilles (extremely loyal and valued Rxer), Docs44, Gamebreaker (a real stand up guy and a gentleman from the get go), 8Ate, Ronald, Doug, JeffKSU, Beane (great gal), 5Teamparlay (and beautiful family), Kiss1, Dmmd98, Bill Papa, Luap, Mr. Leisure (great guy and a real Bash mainstay), Coaster (real gentleman), Brock (thanks for the show tickets - Sportsavant and his lovely wife used them), Shdw01 and 02, Mr. Smith, Seagal, Quantamleap (special thumbs up for your contributions all year round to the Rx. ), Mr Cleo (one cool dude), Bluemyboy, PokerNija (and his crew), Gskiman, Kermit16 (no Bash would be complete without him), GI Joe (friendliest guy at any Bash), Green Doberman (all class), Revon, BigM, ToddinVegas, Dr. Hockey, Finesse, Porno Paul (incredibly generous and a great guy, plus his very lovely guest), Hal101, Fair Warning (he had a blast, lost his voice from sheer happiness), the kind and very gracious couple Mr. and Mrs. Jack of Hearts (special thanks), BigAFan, Baker (who brought special guest Babe Parelli and his friends - I had a wonderful conversation with Babe about the old AFL), Ruffdentist, Superhunk, Dedge, Cdsmoney, Sharky, Royalfan, MrNiss99 (another super cool cat), #1Nurse, Tecmo, Lawnmowerman, Koolzie, Chameleons53, ArniesArmy, Dominique77, Lyle, and apologies to the many I left out because at some point Saturday night my brain went into information overload when it came to remembering who I met and spoke to.
I also want to thank The Rx.Mod team who were all a big help, even TTinCO, who is a terrific friend all around bon vivant, the never say thats impossible Sportsavant who worked tirelessly all weekend and is pure class, plus his lovely Bride of exactly 1 year this weekend - congrats to Mr and Mrs Sportsvant on their 1 year anniversary. My main guys RobFunk and Dante (honarary mod) you guys are truly right there in the heart and soul of The Rx.com., our Editor and diehard Detroit, Tiger, Lions, Redwings and Pistons fan, the extremely well spoken and always a gentleman Charlie Maxwell.
I want to thank Journeyman for holding the fort from his bunker complex on the East Coast... .
Also the Advisory Board Members who stepped it up this weekend to help keep the site running with just a single moderator actually on duty. Special thanks to AB Members G.Money, OldManTed and IceMan. Also a shout out to Jake Thompson who volunteered to help JMan man the home front.
Thank you to the behind the scenes Rx. Tech Support Team - you guys keep the site running even when the Mods are all awol partying in Las Vegas for the weekend.
I cannot say enough about how hard Xpanda worked on both Bashes, she was there for all of you and spared no effort to make both events as sucessful as they were. We couldn't have pulled it off without "Tanya"..
She is going to start planning for next year's Rx Bash 2008 immediately.:aktion033
I want to thank my boss - Rx.com General Manger RickA for his generousity, fairness, intelligence and steady hand that kept everything on track all weekend, also his abosolutely beautiful and delightful wife, who was the life of the Mod Dinner on Friday Night.
Again I apologise to anyone I missed...
Thanks to everyone who contributed to making Rx Bash 2007 the wonderful success it turned out to be. I very much hope to see eveyone back next year along with even more new faces to put poster names to.
Last but by no means least our fearless CEO and forever unflappable Marty Jensen, who together with his very lovely wife lent nothing but style, grace and an incredible amount of generousity of time, effort and resources to the entire event. Marty you truly are the best!!!
Thanks again from a slightly worn out but extremely pleased Wilheim...
