Newbies slant on the Bash

I "used" to think I knew alot about sports wagering...nope!
This was wagering 101 and 201.
Unbelievable information.


For anybody wondering about attending next year, here is my story.

Had trouble hooking up with Rxers on Friday night. I guess all punters look the same.

At about 8ish I hit the can figuring I better go eat, even if alone.
Overhear a guy say "yadda yadda yadda....Doberman"
I introduced myself and 5 minutes later I was in the back seat of Mr. Leisures car, with Green Doberman, akillies, and quantum leap off to a great Thai restaurant.

What a great dinner, total strangers but not for long.
It didn't take long before I was hearing things like.
"You don't know about Matchbox and Mansion?? You dumb shit!" That was Mr. Leisure! LMFAO

I felt at home. Then we went home to PH Sportsbook!
Meet Xpanda and had a discussion about politics while drinking. Doesn't get any better than that. Next year we plan to continue...topic...."Global Warming and Gawd. Are they real, and if so can they coexist?"

The professionalism was evident amongst all the brass.
With a very comfortable and cozy feel.

Most of the people have been named in other posts, so leave it to say......Great Group!

For anyone wonder if or not to give it a try?? GO!!!


I thank everyone there for making a "stranger" feel like a brother!

Couldn't have picked four better people to spend time with, especially if it was your first experience meeting posters.

Those are easily four of my favorite people on this site. Great guys. Not at all surprising that you had a good time.

hey if I was every sick this is one nurse that I would want to take care of me but she is a classy lady...IL that is for sure

Glad you were able to meet up with us Friday night. I know how it is going to a Bash all by myself, never knowing if I will recognize anyone until Saturday at the poker tournament. That was a great idea having everyone share their dish at the Thai restaurant. We all had a chance to taste everything.
