our draft is this week, who to take at #3

we draft after week 1 and i have the 3rd pick, any suggestions after watching week 1? 12 team league

If LT goes #1 and SJ goes #2, I still like Addai at #3. He did nothing in the first game to make me think different. Larry Johnson did as crappy as I figured he would. Either Addai or Steven Jackson at #3.

Alexander... i still dont get why nobody gives him props anymore. He was HURT last season and clearly showed last week that he is back. I would take Alexander personally. If you are in a ppr league then I would take Gore or Addai

Cmon now Jake, give LJ a break. Can't do much when you only get 10 carries. A 4.3 yard an average those 10 carries isn't bad either.

Yea but still, it was against the Texans... if you can't do a little better against the Texans, things aren't exactly looking up. LJ is a #2 fantasy RB this year IMO. The line just won't open the same holes as before and the passing game isn't a threat to keep defenses from keying on him. He'll get alot of carries but I don't see the Chiefs moving the ball. Add to the fact their D will give up points and force the offense to pass... it just doesn't look like he's a first round fantasy pick this year to me.

Addai all the way IMO. He'll get 100 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards, and a TD or so almost every game. Alexander is running behind a lesser O line than when he was at the top of his game and doesn't catch a ton of passes. Addai is much better according to me at least. :toast:
