Was trying to get a Bonus Play by doing the 3 team parlay method and my $400 Bonus Play will only get $300. For some reason in the past I though I always got more out of it?

By picking one team and parlaying with every combination for 3teamers with 2 other games works out good as it gets you 150% of the Bonus Play money.

Example: Team A playing Team B, and you like TEAM A to WIN
Team C playing Team D
Team E playing Team F

Then all 3 team combos with Team A are:
ACE
ACF
ADE
ADF

Do all 4 3teamers for 100. As long as your Team A wins, you win 600. Which is better then doing a straight of 400 to win 363, and you only get the 363 (as you dont get the Bonus Play risk money).

Hope this helps.

No it doesn't.

If team A wins you win $600 on one parlay and lose the other 3 for a net +300. If team A loses you lose $400. Alternatively you can bet $400 on team A and end up either -$400 or +$363.50.

fhmesq44,

Unless I'm mistaken, I think Kruser6 is just trying to get the best value out of his $400 Freeplay money. When you use freeplay money, you don't get the risk amount back if you win.

What I was trying to show is that some newbies would actually risk their $400 Freeplay on a -110 straight to only get back $363.50, which is insane to do if you can get back $600.00 with the exact same risk ($400 Freeplay money) by picking the 1 winner.

So in response to your answer, if you win, your $400 freeplay nets you $600 real money with 0 freeplay money left. Not the $300 net as that would only be if you were only wagering real money.

Right, however I want to lock in as much money with this play as possible without actually risking a loss. So i am going to do 8 combinations with 3 teams. I have done this many times in the past, it just seems I made more then $300 off the $400 F.P in the past. Maybe I haven't, but for some reason I thought I did.

Last time I did throw in a couple big ML plays to bump up the payout though, maybe I'll do that again this time.

It returns 75% in real money using the parlay method with -110 lines, and the standard 6-1 payoff.

It may be possible to slightly increase this with MLB, if your book uses a dimeline that breaks high, but you'd have to bet all different amounts.... I wouldn't bother as parlay can get reduced by rainouts or pitching changes.

In fact, I'd avoid baseball entirely for this reason.

I suggest football, and remember to use lines with half-points.

You could also get above 75% by straight betting big ML with FP, and taking back the fav at another book, but that requires larger funds at the other book, and shopping.
