Pedro threw down Don Zimmer in a regular season game in 2004, right?

I just watched a documentary called "We Still Believe" or something like that. Followed the Sox and some die-hard fans throughout the year. Good film. But one thing that bothered me......they showed Pedro throw Don Zimmer down during a brawl in game 3 of the ALCS at Fenway that year. Am I wrong? Did it happen twice?

it was a playoff game. i remember it well. it was october and i was in bloominton at an illinois-wesleyan homecoming game (wife went to school there). it was a saturday.

Not really. ZImmer charged him as a brawl broke out and Pedro "helped" him down but it was a joke. Zimmer could barely walk let alone fight. He pushed him down as Zimmer was falling.

Yes, exactly as I described. It happened on a saturday playoff game at 5 o clock.

100% positive it was october. i watched the game in someone's dumpy-ass apartment on campus.

after that game, i put down a big bet on the northwestern game...it lost. the next day i bet carolina against the colts and that won. i think it was carolina +2.

It was Game 3 in the ALCS...but not 2004

It was 2003...the year of the Aaron Boone walk off...and Grady Little/Pedro scenario series.

I run into him practically everytime I visit Derby Lane in St. Pete.....he lives just down the road from there(and me).

ZIM loves the ponies...........

fish, remember in october of 2005 when you refused to meet me at derby lanes? well, i saw corey lidle there...before he died. he was chubby and playing poker like a madman.

Okay, I feel better. I was thinking it happened when A-Rod and Varitek got into it. I think that was the following year.

Yes the Tek/A-Rod fight was 2004...some say 'the turning point' of that season.
