Do not give it to any one...I wanted to sign up with bodog and i was speaking to this supervisor telling me why they wanted my SS. I couldnt believe it. ( i make it a point to tell every single book i join that i will not under any circumstances give them my ss# or birthdate or fax them a copy of my ID.)

As long as you use Cash deposits, no one need know anything about you.

The guy at bodog was giving me some crap about verifying bank deposits i told him i will never ever use bank deposits and to mark that on my account. He was still bitching about this and that, i hung up on him!!!

There are many places you can do business without all that bullshit!!!

Dont ever give them that info.

after doing one of my most painful cashout at betonsports and some other book whose name i forgot because they too are no longer in operation or were bought out by some one else, i stopped using any other method to deposit other than cash.

Before i get into a book i call and speak to a supervisor/manger or rep or whatever and let them know what kind of player i am and what i expect.

I stipulate that i do not ever intend to fax them any of my personal information when requesting a cash out outside of my name and address. (i only do cash outs in cash as well). I state that i am a former victim of identity fraud (which of course is inevitably recountered with bogus claims about how such and such book has the latest in security software, to which i respond by saying, " i dont care how good your security software is if a corrupt phone rep steals it there isnt a thing you or any software will do to stop them or protect me." And most importantly if big banks like Citi bank that have unlimited budgets still cant protect themselves, you actually expect me to believe that your book will protect my information.)

Most books of course turn you down, but others have accomodated me quite fine. If you talk to them and let them know what you are all about they will accomodate you most of the time..

Probably true as they have to have some assurance at least that the better is either over 18 or 21

Funny thing is that some time ago, i called a book and the manager tried to pass that off as an excuse. His book had just been featured on a cnn report showing kids using a credit card to gamble online. He himself admitted he saw the report and he conceded that point!!!

(i will look up the cnn report and post it if i can find it..)

Ps...You really think books really care about the age of gamblers? I guess you must think they cry and mourn when a bettor loses a big bet too.

I agree 100%. "For your own security" is a huge line of shit. I will never send a book any info that I do not deem necessary. They wouldn't implement invasive procedures if it wasn't for their benefit.
