I will start by saying Baltimore, and I should have said this two weeks ago as it was pretty obvious....again tonight kicking it around... I would not be surprised at all if they win 1 out of every 4 games the rest of the way.

Who else has given up?

...and they have about 6,000 people in the once 'always filled park' tonight.

:ughhh:

Dammit, you beat me to it, J-man. I was going to say something about it. I knew the Orioles have mailed it in a few weeks ago as well. I almost was all ready to mention in the "Know Your MLB Team" thread that everyday's play should be to fade Orioles even though they will win a few, but from this point on, they'll be much less than 0.00 units to play on them.

And it pretty much started when Trembley signed his extension. Maybe the White Sox will do the same for Ozzie, today's game excluded.

One team that hasn't is SF. They may not be very good, but they are playing a lot of their younger players and they have actually put some enthusiasm into a typically lame and boring team. They are running and playing small ball. not saying they are good plays, but they definitely are a little frisky right now and have not packed it in.

Just like when Zambrano signed the big deal a few weeks ago, he fell apart...Trembley had this team playing well, much better overall team play with him over Perlozza, they have also lost Bedard and now Guthrie.

They played a hell of a game last night too...that has been an entertaining series.

Yeah and I do not know why. They were playing well a few weeks ago giving the Sox and Yanks fits. I watched them and thought they were pretty decent. Oh well...I hate quitters.

Hate to admit it, but the Cards are pretty much finished in '07.

Please tell me why Jose Mesa is a MLB pitcher? he has NOTHING!

It gives us Phillies fans one more player to boo, until McNabb starts to play poorly....You bring up a good point JMAN, why the hell are there veteran relief pitchers playing MLB that absolutely suck...there are deserving kids in the minors with better stuff than some of these washed up rag arms like Mesa and most of the relievers from Tampa Bay, the White Sox, and Atlanta....maybe MLB will raise the mound back to where it was over 40 years ago...:puppy:
