so could you.

onto the music cd sales West is predicted to sell 700,000 first week, 50 cent 500,000. I dont know how 50 can catch him unless he busy 300,000 himself.

So called they said 50 asked Interscope to buy 300,000 to outsell Kanye. 50's album is garbage and Kanye's is ok IMO.

Everyone realizes that both these guys work for the same company?

Universal Music Group, which in turn is owned by Vivendi

They are all on the same parent company but the sub label often battle to since sales effect their overall cut of the pie. In this case Def Jam vs Interscope. In music a large parent company pretty much ensures: widespread distribution, promotion, marketing and etc.

kinda like world wrestling, where the artists all work for the same company but follow prepared scripts in order to make things interesting.

I refuse to listen to 50's new album because I can't stand his weak rhymes and singing, but I thought it was funny to see the new album cover. He has this look on his face like "damn I fucked this thing up"

50 Cent Was on Howard Stern this morning and it was brought up that Vitamin Water wanted to add a flavor to its line a few years ago and when 50 Cent was asked for payment he said he wanted 10% of the company.. They gave him 10% of the company and they just sold out to Coke a few months ago.. 50 Cents take was 400 Million.. Not a bad take ................

He didn't get 400 million but he did get paid and he did own 10%. I heard he actually sold because he was running out of liquid cash. All his money is tied up in assets and taking care of his entourage so it's been said. ithink I heard the house he bought off Mike Tyson is up for sale too. Again these are all things I heard from a "insider"

they did not give him 10% of the company... they gave him 10% of the PRODUCT: forumla 50 - Just Fifty

in fact many music artists and sports figures made the same deal for their own forumla (flavor)

that news story of him getting 10% of the 4.1 billion coke paid for glac'eau was in error. actually a lie.

Stern kept praising him for scoring the 400 Million and he played along with it...... I guess he didnt want to burst anyone's bubble that it was significantly less.. BTW he did say Tyson's House is up for sale... Said he bought it for 4 mill and asking 12 mill for it.. So he is probably hard up for cash..........
