May get to 3000 hits. Only 30 and got 1500. Averages 200 a year.

What do you do with him if he gets to 3000???:puppy:

He's first ballot along with Jeromy Burnitz, Matt Stairs, and Tommy Herr.

They had a spot already reserved for his plaque in Cooperstown, but Joba Chamberlain has now been given those rights.

He's a definite first ballot HoF'er, in the French Baseball HoF.

he will finish with a pile of stolen bases.

My thoughts as well. You never know when total career numbers are IN.
Currently #72 all-time with 382 SB's. Tim Raines 808 SB's (#5 all-time) and 2805 hits not even considered.

He should be around a while with his speed though. These thing seem to work themselves out with guys like McGriff, Baines, Raines etc. coming up shy on career #'s

I saw JP play at fenway. I couldnt get over his speed.

You dont really realize how blazingly fast this guy is until you see it in person.

What?! Career .301 hitter that steals bases at will, and you think he is a bum?

Who cares if he doesnt have HR power, thats not what he is there for.

The fact that this can legitimately be taken seriously proves my point that stats lie. There is nothing unreasonable in the premise that a 30 year old with 400 SBs, .301 ave and 1500 hits is a legitimate HOF candidate.

I'm guessing you agree with me that Craig Biggio shouldn't get in the HOF, if you're taking that stance.
