I knew ND's offense has been offensive, but no TD's through three games, including that abysmal Michigan 11? I didn't realize that they haven't even scored.
We all know the reasons why ND is having a bad season. But this is Weiss' third year and these kids are very poorly coached. He can't make them execute, but he should be teaching them the fundementals, particularly the front line. He deserves to be on the hot seat, because 0 TD's after three games is completely unacceptable. Even if these kids are young, some have been playing and practicing under Weiss for two years now.
I thought Ty got a raw deal, but I understood that it is Notre Dame and you have to win at all costs. Something tells me Weiss is going to get a much longer leash than Willingham.
But it is a bit ironic that Weiss took over Willingham's program and once Willingham's kids moved on the team has turned to absolute shit and about as soft as a team could be, while Willingham took over a program that was on the total skids and even though he still doesn't have top notch players on both sides of the ball, they at least play with heart and toughness.
Say what you want but call Tyrone, he can coach up average players and make them good.
