Duncan Hunter, Sam Brownback, Tom Tancredo, and Mike Cox have no shot at winning the Republican nomination. Now Alan Keyes has entered the race. I think everyone has a right to run if they want but when will these guys drop out?

The mainstream media wants Guiliani, Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney to be the contenders. Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul have done a good job stepping out from lower tier and won't go away anytime soon. When does this race get shaken up and when do folks start dropping out?

I think the only candidate who benefits from this many candidates in the field is Ron Paul. He's the only one who is distinctly different than the group. A Republican voter who is against the war will probably consider voting for Congressman Paul. A Republican voter who is for the war has many choices to choose from.

Think about it though. How many voters are really inspired by Guiliani, Romney, or Fred Thompson? Ron Paul's folks are going to get out and vote. But the people who aren't voting for Paul have to decide between 9 other candidates. I know it seems like a longshot but I think Congressman Paul has a better shot than most people think.

Paul has already more funds in the bank than Mc Cain.
