its unprofessional. thats like saying you should play the moneyline when a -3 favorite is up 35-3 in the 3rd quarter of an nfl game only to hang on to win 42-41.
this isnt a debate on handicapping philosophy. the point is that an mlb team in the home stretch of a pennant race just blew an 11-0 lead. i dont care if the final ended up being 11-8. the point is that such a collapse shoud not happen if you are fighting for a playoff spot.
