I can't get opera mini to work. I have a BB 8700g , but my carrier is Cellular One. Any ideas? (Other than killing myself, of course).

It keeps saying unable to connect to the internet.

I have a BB 8700 also. Are you going into the BB Browser or do you have a Cingular browser? That link I put up above works fine.

Can you get any internet to work over anything? You may have to add a data plan if not(it's $$$ on top of the voice).

When I try to run the operamini I get the message "failed to connect to the internet. Go to operamini.....with your desktop or contact your service provider for internet settings"

When I go to the opera mini site help page, they have you put in you phone, the country and then provider so that you can get an "APN" --whatever the heck that is. But for the USa they do not list "Cellular One" as an option. Only Sprint, At+T, Tmobile and Cingular. I tried the Cingular and Tmobile info , but to no avail.

I went to their forum and found some other options like changing the server application permissions, but that didn't work either.

Pllus the fact that I am a tech idiot, doesn't help.

I can access all websites from my phone. I just would like the Mini for when I go to RX. The pages take FOREVER to load.
T3A, i tried the archive link you posted. It works good, but it seems like it is about 15-20 minutes behind. This is crucial when I am not near a computer and I am waiting to get a last minute play from someone like Carolinakid.
(And what is the difference between BB browser and Cinguilar browser. I have 2 browser : one labeled "internet browser" which I was told to use and labeled "wireless internet" which I was told would not be as good.)

Thanks
Harry
