Yes, Pitts has been in a slide and the cubbies hot but history says Maholm wins this.

He's 4-0 vs. the cubs, beat them twice this year including a +205 winner at chicago vs. zambrano.

Pitts is 7-5 overall against the cubbies this year.

Granted, Marquis has been strong the last 3 starts, but Maholm has been great too if you throw out the beating he took in Colorado.

I see solid value on Pittsburgh today at +185.

Sorry, Maholm took the beating last start in Houston. His start a couple weeks ago in Colorado was spectacular.

I hope Malolm does not get a hold of us today, but I highly doubt he does. If he was to do as well as you speak I dont see this one being +190.

I like the Cubs with the runline but I also am an avid avid avid Cubs fan. Craig Monroe should be in the line-up against the lefthander and I really like the Cubs against the lefties.

The wind is blowing out 13-15 MPH to center and left field and we should be able to put up some runs. Derrek Lee should have a hay day today and Aramis and Soriano should do their thing. Marqus, if you do not know, is a groundball pitcher which can save the Cubbies some grief with this wind at Wrigley.

That alright my good man. I just have a different opinion with Cubs following an off day and watching the Brew Crew go down twice in a row with a tough game ahead. I like what I see in the Cubs today and the ML is, indeed, a tad high than I would have imagined. I had it at -150 to -160 Cubs and I didn't get it any lower than that.

We will see how this one goes and I hope to the Cubs get their win today big guy! BOL with the rest of your plays.

Yeah I would agree that the rest of the baseball season is going to be a tough one to cap, but I like what I see! The Brewers are definitely struggling and Chipper said it best, "We have a team coming in here that is trying to get in the playoffs, and we are still dying for that outside chance."

Well Chipper you have Hudson and Smoltz on the mound today and tomorrow so get the bats rolling so I can MASH the the lines with you! lol

Also, Cru, I appreciate the shoutout to the NCAAF thread but I did struggle last week after I lost discipline and added those teasers and play on Louisville. It something I am getting better at and have applied in baseball and Thursday night NCAAF. Since the add on let down I am up around 6 units so I look to be back on track this weekend as well. Sorry to litter your thread!
