Getting unwanted calls from scamcappers?

I have been getting some calls from some of these guys. I registered at

You guys remember who would call them and wreak havoc with them? I know one of us used to do that (call from payphones, make them seem like they were really, really interested and then bust them for trying to rip the caller off and then post the transcripts from the calls.)

I think my senility is setting in because I can't remember which poster used to do that all the time. Some of those threads were classics.

ive gotten 4 from fiest this year,

the funnest thing to do is to keep them on the phone for as long as possible and make them think you are gonna buy and are really interested....

after about 1.5 hours, break the news

I actually didnt last more than 5 minutes before exploding, but its a good idea nonetheless....

truth be told, you can just put them on speaker phone and still do whatever you were doing while stringing them along.

The best way to deal with the monkeys is to NEVER let them talk for more than ten seconds before saying fuck you and hanging up; this worked for me back around the late 80's.

I got a call yesterday (from unlisted #). I'm not sure if it was service or a sportsbook. I wasn't listening. But after pressing him as to where they got my number (cell phone), he said it was Bodog. I haven't bet there in YEARS.

I got another call today from a 702 number (vegas) but didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Icalled the number back a while later and noone answered. ???

best one I heard is to tell them hold on I have to get my credit card and than walk away leaving them on hold for 15 minutes or so before they get frustrated and hang up. They think they got you than nothing talk about a letdown. If they call back than do it again.
