That dickhead Aaron Hill screwed us. 2 horrible plays in a row which should have ended the game.

I also had Jeter under 1.5 hits. He had one, but he'll get to bat now in the 10th. I can lose 3 bets now that were winners going into that shit 9th. Brutal. Now the Boston under 8.5 is going up in flames in the 9th.

Hill had a routine grounder from Posada(with 2 outs in the ninth) and for some reason tried to rush it and one-hopped it to Overbay who couldn't handle it. The next batter hit a grounder which was a little tougher play but went under Hill's glove. He completely gave the game away.

Posada hit a hard game ending grounder to Hill's right. Instead of setting his feet, he acted like it was Ichiro running and threw off balance across his body into the dirt and Overbay couldn't come up with it cleanly. After that the Yankees get two hits, score 2 runs and tied the game. He had all day to get Posada.

I saw the play. He is supposed to be a professional. Off his back foot, he short arms a 55 foot throw, bouncing it about 6 feet in front of the first baseman. A total vomit, loss of concentration, choke play.

the strange part is Hill is one of the Jay's best defensive players. Has made numerous highlight reel plays this year including one tonight earlier in the game where he caught that foul ball almost in the stands then gunned out the guy running home. Totally out of character for him to choke on that throw to first in the 9th and miss that next grounder after. I swore either the mafia got to him or he was on the take bigtime after watching that...lol.. I'm shocked the Jays pulled this one out as they are known to basically quit after blown 9th innings like that.

Wow...terrible beats. At least the yankees team total cashed, and total pushed. Still - Terrible.
