Analysis: The Orioles beat the Rangers on August 21, 6-2. The next day, the two teams were scheduled to play a doubleheader. You may remember the results? The Rangers won the first game 30-3 and the nightcap, 9-7. That sent the Orioles off on a nine-game losing streak and when the team arrived in Arlington on Thursday, Baltimore had lost 22 of its previous 28 games. The Rangers used the record-setting DH win to go on a 15-4 run but the team is in a funk now, having lost 10 of its last 12, which includes dropping TWO of three in this series. However, I like the way Kevin Millwood's (9-13, 5.39 ERA) been pitching as of late and I give him a HUGE edge over Baltimore's Jon Leicester. Millwood has given up two ERs or less in five of his last eight starts and Texas is 9-5 in his 14 home starts in '07. I'll also note that he is 6-2 with a 3.88 ERA in nine starts against the Orioles. Leicester (2-2, 7.78 ERA) will be making only his fourth start since joining the rotation earlier this month. The right-hander is 0-2 with a 14.04 ERA in five appearances (one start) on the road this season. The Reds are 24-8 (plus-$1,674) in his starts TY, making him MLB's biggest moneymaker among starting pitchers. When Harang is not on the mound, the Reds have gone just 47-76, while losing $2,512 against the moneyline. Check out these numbers on the road! Cincy has gone 13-2 (.867) in Harang's road starts, while going just 20-45 (.308) in games away from the Great American Ballpark when he doesn't start! I guess ONE man CAN make a difference! Sunday, in his final road start of the season, Harang will face a Giant team that's 'packed it in."
