Drag legend lucky to be alive after horrific crash during qualifying race against fellow legend and friend Kenny Bernstein.

Compound fracture to ankle, broken wrist and broken fingers. When it happened, I thought I just saw John Force get killed.

Bernstein car come over the center line and Force had his rear end of his car blow up on him.Was Just on ESPN 2 about 30 mins ago and Force is lucky to be alive.

Amazing how much those safety programs really pay off. Guy in the AP article says he feels safer in a drag racer going 300 than he does in his rental car going 55.

I saw that as well also thought i just witness the ending of a legend
horrible crash but he will be back he is still a threat to win everytime he goes to the line

They sure did. And they also didnt have any safety straps on the blowers, so if you dropped a cylinder at 9500 rpm, the top end of the motor would fly off into orbit.
