Illini likes to do this, he doesn't understand I guess when you have REAL money on a game and show some emotion, I didn't bother responding to him...he does this almost every single time I post ANYTHING....calling out Lidge isn't like going off on a player who's ben solid, there's a big difference, Lidge last night was horrible, again.
It's not like I go around calling out players who have been pitching well all year and then blow a game....Lidge was awful AGAIN last night, and this is a forum where we DO talk about things like this.

I understand venting, and if that's what you were doing, fine. I just absolutely hate when people act like the game was stolen from them when they give up a lead late. It's not a bad beat when the other team scores runs on your bullpen. And the same people that say Lidge sucks keep betting the Astros when they know he is the closer. Lidge doesn't suck, but why bet them if you think he does?
I just read the Harang thread. Hilarious. I guess I didn't realize how psycho pissed some people get when they lose a bet. The guy redeemed himself and came back to say that Harang was not a worthless piece of shit, but was in fact a damn good pitcher.

What exactly did I say that was 'stupid', you come off like a know it all...and you really don't say anything just poke fun at people in these spots...pretty weak...If I have a 1300 swing because a guy like Lidge blows a game , there is nothing wrong with saying 'Brad Lidge at it again'...because ya know what, he does this MORE OFTEN than just about any other gas can.
Illini you're a good kid and I like you, I didn't come back in the thread after you went out of your way (again) to be right there in my face with one of your remarks....it's like a reporter coming up to me after I just gave up a GW gopher ball saying something stupid. I guess you never get mad after a bad beat, good for you....I do get mad and I am not ashamed to say I do have passion and fire and that is all part of it.

yeah it was a brutal day, I had a great Saturday and was very close Sunday but lost a couple tight ones that swung it back, then Lidge's meltdown...all i said was 'Lidge at it again'....I am very fair when I call out a player....it was lowly STL too, which was even worse, a team that hasn't been motivated in months.
I call it fair, always have and admit more when I lose than brag when I win....it's not always relative on a forum though, a post from one could mean something entirely different than another...maybe it was funny to him who knows.
