Can't believe he threw that one in there right before the break. Wow.

what was the comment?

He said Rex is going to get 100 times the criticism that McNabb gets, basically dissing McNabb for his comments last week. I agree with Michaels, as McNabb doesn't get any additional criticism because he's black.

the fact that grossman is 1000 times worse than a crippled mcnabb may have something to do with it

Michaels told it like it was...:toast:

Grossman looked shaken in the postgame presser...a QB with no confidence....

He has been under more scrutiny than McNabb ever has...just like Urlacher said after the game..."What's new".

IMO...McNabb lost alot of credibility when he said he wanted "his ring back"...in that moronic reference to losing the SBOWL to the Pats. I hope that if that hack ever makes it back to the SBOWL...that he doesnt start puking in the huddle and comes into the game in game-shape.

Dan Fouts said the same thing as Al Michaels in the college game he was commentating in.

Exactly. McNabb has an excuse or two-Grossman doesn't.

:think2: Point was McNabb claimed he gets more scrutiny because hes black when its obvious that whoever the QB

they get scrutiny if they are performance merits scrutiny

It wasn't all McNabb's fault in the slow start and it definately isn't all Rex's fault in Chicago. That's just the problem with being a QB in the NFL. You will get more than your share of credit AND blame playing that position.

You also get more money, so I think it's a fair tradeoff to have to deal with criticism.

Good point...and as long as McNabb has been QB of the Eagles I think he has gotten a fair amount of criticism as per how we usually treat our athletes here. I think he shouldn't expect us to coddle him because it's pretty much a slam dunk that we will not here in Philadelphia.

After last night I'm guessing Grossman is going to be getting a ton of hate mail telling him niggers can't play quarterback

Wow was the N word necessary?

I dunno, ask McNabb...

If it affects you here on a random internet board, imagine what it is like to get it in your own mailbox addressed specifically to you.

Did not mean it like that WC, but I agree what it must be like getting it in youre mailbox. I also think McNabb uses the card too much if you ask me.

I thought this was the first time he's ever talked about it. But whatever, if he is being refered to as a "black" quarterback, and I know he has been, then he's not the only one playing the race card.

The point some of the broadcasters are making are perfectly valid...Grossman is going to get raped by the media. But again, he's not ever going to be refered to as a "black" quarterback.

Nor is he ever going to be refered to as a "good" quarterback.

As a Charger fan, I'd be thrilled to have Donavan McNabb as my starting QB.
