Just got in and listening to the radio they said he tore an ACL in the meltdown on Sunday, what a fcuking idiot that has seriously damaged his teams chances down the stretch. I wouldn't be suprised if this ended his run in the major leagues, dumbass needs to get some meds and a little anger management classes in the off season.

got into a pissing match with the 1st base ump and when his coaches tried to restrain him he went to the ground and tore his ACL ligament. my question is what's he going to do whip the umps ass? he's done for the year and in all likelyhood the padres are as well, he's a selfish prick imo.

yea its dumb..but..he wasnt going after the ump to fight him, he was trying to get in his face because the ump was apparently saying some very disrespectful and inappropriate things. THe pads 1st base coach even defended bradley and said he had never heard an ump say such nasty things to a player, or something to that effect.

2 sides to every story.

Bradley didn't even do anything wrong and he didn't even hurt himself

Buddy Black was restraining him and HE hurt him by taking him down

Milton Bradley is also a Free Agent, at season's end...

not good...considering he'll likely miss the start of next season as well...not very appealing for potential teams.

It will cost him $$ no matter what.

he got played by the ump and he's gone for the year, i'd say he did do something wrong. it's called self control.....................

he's going to miss most if not all of next year, he's another year older, he's done imo. he let the ump's cost him a huge amount of cash. naahh he didn't do anything wrong after all.

every man has a line teaze, he wasn't thinking about possibly injuring his knee just by getting in the umps face

I don't really understand the getting in the umps face stuff. It is amazing to me that they can happen so often with very few punches ever thrown between ump and players

hopefully the ump is suspended. the 1b coach said he never heard a ump go after a player like that before.

This is the first thing that crossed my mind...Padres were one of the few teams that would make an effort to keep him and they are low ballers anyway, now they can really low ball him.

He also would've wanted a multi-year deal...considering, all the diff. teams he's played for recently. Zero chance of a multi-year deal now...he'll have to setting for a 1 year contract at best.

Has anyone heard what was said?

It had to be a shot at his temper or family life...if it was so serious you would have to laugh, a guy arguing with an ump and he ends up on the ground unable to get up....this could cost Bradley millions.

Milton was arguing with the ump because the 1st Base ump said he threw the bat after the call

Milton said something like "do you really think I threw the bat come on now"
ump replied "yeah you threw the fucking bat, thats horseshit man, complete horseshit to throw it like that"

thats when milton threw up his hands to call timeout and arguement ensued

thats the story the best I can piece it together
