What in the hell!

Just 3 weeks ago I was trying to figure out how I could purchase some decent tickets to the SUPER BOWL. This is one hell of a hard fall.

Literally everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.

DUECE is now out for the season, and likely for the rest of his career. I loved DUECE, you hate to see things like that happen, but I dont feel like he can overcome 2 ACLs tears in 3 years.

How can a team that returned 20 out of 22 starters for so fast?

This O-line that you saw tonight and the other 2 games is the same line that played PROBOWL level protection and runblocking last season.

Now Drew cant even got off a screen pass. This hurts bad to go from SUPER BOWL fantasies to thinking you may be able to lose enough to get Glen Dorsey.

Well it looks like you guys wont have to put up with my Saints threads this season.

Please take it easy on me.

They aren't as bad as they looked tonight. Colts are just a ton better. Tampa Bay has looked solid in all 3 of their games, including the seeming blowout loss at Seattle, where they dominated the first half. And the Titans are good. The Saints played horrible tonight, but I still expect them to be decent. It certainly isn't over yet.

That injury to Deuce is going to be tough to overcome, though. And I should also add that I'm the worst NFL handicapper alive. So maybe they will go 0-16.

Not saying the Saints are going to go 3-13 or anything like that. I agree the season may not be over in terms of being respectable.

But I had high asperations coming into the season, and thats not just homerism. The Saints were picked to go to the superbowl more than any other team in the NFC.

I think its fair to say those dreams are over.

Turnovers like that can make any team look really bad. Don't put the barrel in your mouth yet....the tits may be a hell of a lot better than people think.

Still time to get things on track-at least for another week or two.

Are the players for Notre Dame and the Saints one and the same? Sure play like 'em...similar uni's ...both pray to someone/something that isn't answering...both have overrated head coaches. :nopityA: But, that said, they played three solid opponents. Where are the Falcons when ya need them?
