I don't think the Yankees ever had any intention of starting Clemens tonight. After yesterday's loss against Toronto, the Yankees aren't going to win the division. They won't come out and say it but they know they're going to be the wildcard. They will coast through this week by getting their rotation in order for the playoffs and resting position players for next week.
