.............the weekend of October 26-28th. Four guys for three days just looking to gamble, golf and get drunk.

1. Any Rxers wanna meet up for drinks/titties etc
2. Any recommendations or better yet hook ups, on where to stay ?
3. Where do ya'll recommend we eat/drink/bet/watch the games on Sat/Sun ?

Planet Hollywood, they have Setanta Sports in the hotel room if you are looking to kill some down time watching EPL.

Although the place is brand new and very nice, the sportsbook is rather small(but comfy as hell if you are fortunate enough to get one of the big cushy chairs or couches).

Then again, if everyone is firing, they do have a small roped off VIP area on the right. Doberman, any idea what it takes to get a seat or few in there?

Same here, I couldn't believe my eyes when I say it and someone in the sportsbook must like soccer cause they keep a corner tv on fox soccer channel most of the time.

I have gone to the bar at 7 a.m too many times to watch the EPL. What a luxury to roll over and watch 5 hours of soccer in your own scratcher.

I know Xpanda reserved the area for the Thursday night game.
The rest of the weekend we just kind of walked in there. I was firing either 20 across or 40 across on the horse races and I figured with the crowd they had in there that was enough to warrant sitting there.

Keep in mind it won't be Wisconsin weekend or opening NFL weekend, so the sports book crowd won't be ridiculous like it was when we were there.

If I were you Joe, I would get the name of the host there from Xpanda let the host know you are associated with the group but couldn't come that weekend and see what kind of deal she can give you.

If not, you can always pass out at 6 in the morning at the poker table in front of O'Shea's with TTinCo.

I actually gave up on that poker table once I found out that the only time they usually have a NL game was when the WSOP was in town. I didn't have any luck at all getting any interest in switching over from limit-and this was trying in the morning, evening & overnight.

Summerlin is a great area that's right up there with other desert cities like Scottsdale and Rancho Mirage. IMO, Red Rock is the best property in town.

Setanta was free last month on my cable provider here at home. The incentive came from Setanta itself, not the cable provider. So it's entirely possible that Setanta was available at PH as a free promotion, and might not be a standard. I'd check first, if that is something that will really matter to you.

As for reserving the VIP section of the sports book, if you want, I can give our contact at PH a call and see if they'll hold it for you. We're working on a quote already for next year's bash, so I'm sure she'd be happy to oblige.
