Are wireless internet cards (for notebooks) just like talking on a cell phone?

I mean, are they still drawing in huge amounts of radiation??? I would assume they are. Are they safer or worse than cell phones?

No idea, I never even thought of it-but I'd assume that you would be okay since you're not holding it up against your skull. A foot or two makes a big difference.

Then again, you might be firing blanks if you work for hours upon hours with it on your lap. Shit, we could probably raise a few hundred thousand in grants for that study.

I was actually 1/2 serious. Somebody shells out massive coin for these various studies-and they get done.

That tells me that there's money to be made in there somewhere. Granted, it might be from the computer manufacturers, but hey-it's still money.

Boy, that looks filthy-but that's how I think the real world works.

Reason I ask is because I just got one and I've been debating on whether or not to dump my DSL line and just use the wireless card for my desktop as well ,rather then pay for both monthly......dont want to use this thing all the time if it is dangerous though.

Has anybody really proven anything about cell phones? I certainly understand the logic-but what has been proven?

I wouldn't worry about it
