I have been trying to devise a mathematical way to have my own set of power ratings based on outcomes, scheduling, opponents outcomes....etc.

By use of matrix analyzation, how can I link every team into every team? My thought on this was that it would be more precise if I could achieve the desired result...in short I am looking make sense of the relationship of every team and their outcomes...

If anyone is good at this stuff...let me know....

austin, to get all the teams to relate to one another you would want to use least squares regression.. I just learned this myself not too long ago. it's simple to do in excel, and i'll show you what to do.. my email address is my rx name at hotmail.com

check out this page if you haven't already...it has many power rankings using all sorts of methods, mostly where all teams are connected to each other:

Check out Jay Coleman's for the most accurate "A beat B and B beat C so A is better than C" version. Each system is different, and most if not all have descriptions, so they may be able to give you an insight. I used to have one on here but have since realized there are others that provide much better information than mine ever could, so I stopped posting it. Mine didn't tie all the teams together, so I don't think I could walk you through it that easily.

Here's a summary of all the rankings, with the ones that most conform to the average listed to the left:
