With their victory over the hometown Colorado Rockies and their ace Jeff Francis last night (Friday), the Arizona Diamondbacks gained an invitation to the MLB postseason party in October. However their own postseason celebration team party may carry into the wee hours of the morning out in Colorado and I'm wondering if they (Arizona) may be somewhat of a pushover against Mark Redman and the Rockies later tonight (Saturday)? Edgar Gonzalex (8-3) is the scheduled started for Arizona. Does anyone want to share his opinions or comments on this possibility and can anyone update me on Redman as a starter for Colorado, meaning what type of pitcher is he as a starter? Is Colorado now a solid play for Saturday based on Arizona clinching a playoff birth last night ?:toast:

C'mon guys, what's wrong here? Someone must have an opinion on this game based on last night's result.

Need to see who is in the starting lineup for Arizona. Still are playing for the division title. The Cubs, Yankees, and Boston's lineups may be interesting.

Actually Fair Warning, I read where tonight's game against Colorado does in fact mean something for the D-Backs regarding winning their division. So the celebration I mentioned might have been quite mild afterall. I guess the other people in this forum must have been smarter than us and knew that already. (Wrong!) :missingte

Heck, I loved the Reds and were going to put them in Journeyman's contest, especially with the Cubs playing Cedeno at 3rd and Henry Blanco at 1st. Good thing they didn't offer it.

This weekend, way too many goofy things happen. Better off playing against must-win teams.
