How many points does a line have to move to influence your bet. Ie. you were going to play it but decide to lay off or even take the other side. Or you weren't going to play it but decide to pick a side because the line got small enough or big enough.

There is no right or wrong answer to this but in football I try and grab key numbers and espically when the number is at it's apex.

Good example was last nite game. All week the line hovered around 6.5/7, I decided that if and when the line went thru the key number 7 and hit +7.5 I would pull the trigger (doing it last nite is a whole different story). Grabbing key numbers and catching lines at their apex means everything when betting, it is way more important than handicapping a game.

Each sport or bet has different rules for me to pull thr trigger on a play but I like to find the consenesus number on a game and bet the game if the number is off when zero handicapping involved. You do that enough times you will win.
