-130 Yankees +115 Indians

for any team to be more than -120 or -130 against the other in any american league matchup is downright silly.

how could anyone possible justify boston and new york as 2/1 favorites?

with new york being -190 at the greek, what the hell are the game lines going to be? you mean to tell me sabathia and carmona are going to be underdogs at home?

lackey and escobar are going to be big dogs in their respective games as well?

those opening series prices are baffling.

the networks might want boston/new york. but id be very surprised if that ended up being the ALCS

wow that Angels line is some of the best value I have seen. The two big IF's are: IF Escobar's elbow is rested and IF Shields can find his stuff again. The Red Sox pen was in good form the last time these 2 met in Anaheim and that is not the case now. Okajima and Gagne struggling. Papelbon can not be counted on to consistently record 5 and 6 out saves in the postseason.

Those lines have absolute value! Anaheim specifically and I'm a BoSox fan. The Red Sox are not going to walk all over LAA at all in my opinion.

Honestly, I was thinking LAA might even be slightly favored over the Red Sox, that team strings together hits that is extremely tough to beat in a five game set if their bats are hot. I know they are below average on the road, but the playoffs is another beat entirely.

NYY\Cleveland...wel, gotta say...I think the Yankees will pull off this series... perhaps even in somewhat dominating form, but laying -190 is absolutely crazy. Books in Vegas were giving 2.5-1 odds on the Yankees even making the playoffs a month ago, now all of the sudden they are the cats meow?

Will likely play both dogs for a unit.
