Call wwwcard. They can see the reason why your purchase was turned down. Usually the bank who issued the card you are using to purchase the wwwcard with has declined the purchase for your protection. So then you call your bank card issuer and after you talk with them they release the block, and then you go back online and the purchase of the wwwcard goes thru OK. This scenerio happens often. But if you do as I say, the wwwcard purchase will be approved.

My credit limit is like $6500, I rarely have over 2k on it, $250 to WWW gets flagged ?

It's Aspire Visa, not sure if Aspire is a bank, or what !

I know what you're saying but because it's an online purchase, the card issuer's are more worried about fraudelent use. I know it's a hassle, have to make the extra phone calls. It has happened both times I loaded wwwcard, but once I call my purchasing card issuer, and they know it's me they release the fraud block and you just go back in and the online purchase is OK.

It doesn't work for me. WWW.card says call issuer, Visa says have them call, they are unfamiliar with the procedure. It's more hassle than its worth. Bushhole wins again.

I don't want a shitload of credit cards. I have a main one, a Visa that I pay off every month, just opened an American Express for Costco, have a few others I haven't used in years like Home Depot, I think I even do have another Visa I've never used. How do I know before opening it, if it will work ?

I've heard its bad to have too many open. Yes Bushhole is to blame for the way things are now.

That same error happened to me a few months ago. They put a lock on my whole credit card and it took me about a week to sort out with the credit card company. Your bank/credit card provider just doesn't like the looks of the transaction. This also happened to me once with Expedia purchasing airline tickets online. It's not a "United States" problem, merely a security check. I'd rather them check than just let anything through. It's got nothing to do with terrorists... it's called CREDIT CARD FRAUD, and it's been a problem in this country since well before Bush.

yea, wwcard also blocked me earlier this year (March for BBall tourney). They told me they declined because of suspicious activity relating to gambling. So I just got a debit card and now that works fine for certain sportsbooks.

I made 2 deposits prior to this block and they were only $200 a pop.

You can go to Safepay.CC and sign up for a SafePay account and deposit from your Visa or MasterCard Credit Card to their Visa Virtual Card.

You can use their Visa Virtual Card to make deposits.
