Even though Morales would be going off 3 days rest, he'd still be a better option than Josh. Peavy is definitely dealing tomorrow so Rox need to be patient, unlike today's game.

I'll be a COLO fan tomorrow. I don't care who's pitching. SD has to be demoralized after being one strike from closing this thing on Saturday, and then watching a 3-run lead slip away Sunday. They travel to high-altitude Coors field where the Rockies have exploited a strong home-field advantage and have all the momentum in the world, winning 13 of their last 14. Peavy will make the price very attractive for the Rockies, and I think they'll rock him.

I thought they were playing in Petco. I'm glad that they'll be playing in Coors then, because I'll definitely be cheering for the Rockies tomorrow.

I watched them today marmix, and they were very impatient during their at-bats. Petit is very hittable and look what he did through 5.

Except for that Arizona start, Peavy's been lights out unfortunately. I would think the conclusion to the brewers series would be devastating, but your mentality completely changes when the ace goes on the mound. They should be professional enough to put Milwaukee past them.

Fogg was decent in LA but you always have to expect him to give up at least 2-3 runs when he takes the mound. Maybe with the Padres offense he can get away with it, but not in a game of this magnitude.

The Rockies better show more patience tomorrow and Fogg pitches a hell of a game, because there's no question Peavy will most likely rise to the occasion. The line will get a lot of rockies dough too, but I might have to go with the bad guys in this one.

Good Luck.

Fogg is nicknamed "Dragon Slayer" for his reputation for beating the other team's aces in big games. Let's hope he earns that nickname tomorrow!

Guys, what time is the play-off game slated to start? Is it an evening game or an afternoon one?

It'll be a night game (7:35 EST) so San Diego won't be as jet lagged as I thought.

He's slayed only two all-stars in september, webb and young. Before this month, the only thing he's been slaying is his era.

Any total players here? Comments opinions???

I'm leaning over just because of the great stats Peavy/Fogg have going into this matchup. When you see this you think pitching duel all the way, but normally they get hit second time around or so.

5-inning under may be the way to go here. Game starts at 5:35 local time.
