Phillip Rivers looks like a rookie again. Where's the passion he had just a year ago? Remember he was so into every play. I remember the Bengals comeback last year, and how the Chargers battled and never gave up on any play and just will-ed themselves to victory. What a difference a year can make

Only real difference is the coaches.

I think this is going to explode pretty quick...alot of those players really liked playing for Schotty...

Its coming...some of 'em are going to start talking about Norvy and Teddy.

Two of the most inept... Life-time-Losers that the NFL has ever seen.

Funny thing about Cottrell...he was not even coaching LY...he was working in the NFL offices. There is a reason for that.

What is going on with the chargers right now has totally silenced me regarding any debate of the impact a coach has. Wow.

And I tend to dislike teams with bad coaches because it makes capping more difficult. Simply because you dont know when they are going to pull something out and toss together a great game plan.

They kind of remind me of the Chicago White Sox. I realize the Sox haven't changed managers so that part of the comparison doesn't hold up.

But how can they be that weak with that personel that was so good so recently?

I feel like the Chargers have to turn it around - but I kept expecting the same from the White Sox the last couple years and it didn't happen.

Amazing what 4 weeks can do..........haven't heard a peep about Millen losing his job so far this season (it's still early), but now everyone is calling for AJ Smith's head (and justifiably so).

As bad as they have played, no one has pulled away. Now Chicago is screwed if they lose next Sunday. SD still can put a nice little run and win the division.

Norv Turner has never proven himself as a head coach IMHO. Excellent offensive coordinator but not head coach.
