OK, call me niave but why is this not that big of a deal? I mean when Bonds was going towards the HR record that is all anyone could talk about. Plus the ball was going to be worth a half a million. How much is the football thrown worth? Is this because HR's are considered more of an individual effort opposed to having to have someone else involved in the TD record? Or is it just because the TD record was just set 12 years ago opposed to 30+ years ago?

maybe because it's just a matter of time before Peyton breaks it?

By the way, I make Favre a favorite on returning to the field next season at this point in time.
