This may not be going out on a limb as he is on pace for close to 5,000 yards passing and 30+ TD's but being a life long Lions fan this would break what I think maybe the longest streak in the NFL.

35 years without a QB in the Pro Bowl for the Lions is sad.

Yes sir. 1972. They talk about it alot in these parts. Though Scott Mitchell QB'ed the #1 offense in football for them around 1995 or so.

It is as bad the last championship for the Lions is 1957 and they just celebrated the 50th year anniversay of that team yesterday during halftime.
