Another reason why this sport fails..........

Why not start the season today or tomorrow when there would be more interest, especially from the gambling community.

Nope. The wait for the first day of baseball post season to start playing hockey.

Kind of the same thing with the CFL scheduling their games at 1pm and 4pm on sundays when the NFL is on at that time.

A better idea would be to shorten the season to 72 games and start the season at the end of October.

THATS my thinking why canadian foots is not too popular.........that and the 8 teams and lousy players and dumb rules..........but the scheduling is right up there
