Phillies/Rockies Game 1 thoughts?

Do the Rockies continue their hot streak in Game 1 or does Monday nights (13 inning) game/and having to fly across country affect them? The Phillies have had a few days rest, plus they throw Cole Hamels out there in Game 1, who the Rockies have never faced. I believe Hamels at home (8-2 3.24 era) and the Phillies lineup against Francis (ripped in his 2 outings against the Phils this year) will be the factors in Game 1.

Phillies -144 (bodog) for 2 units

Has anyone seen the Phillies run total yet??

i'm not picking a winner here, but i don't believe that the 13 inning game, nor flying across country is a factor in this game. this is the playoffs. in a 5 game set, pro baseball players realize they don't have time to letdown. it's gonna be pitch & 'see the ball, hit the ball'.

i like the phils but not the bullpen so i am taking phils -120 first 4.5 innings. good luck whatever you do.

not worried about phillies' bullpen....bullpen got better and that's part of the reason why they finished with 13-4 records at the end of regular season....

this is a great time for a mental let down for the rockies after such a great run they will relax just enough to have the phillies win the game imo.

One thing about that last game Francis pitched at Philly, He got squeezed by the home plate ump twice, which would have gotten him at out of big innings. I don't think that outing was as bad as it showed on paper.
