Here are my thoughts on each of the 4 series:

Boston vs Anaheim....Think these will be some tight games that will be settled by which teams starting pitching lives up to the billing. I do like the depth of Boston's hitting lineup a lot more than Anaheims. Homefield advantage should rule in this series in the end.
My pick: Boston

Cleveland vs Yankees....Before the season, my WS prediction was Cleveland vs NY Mets with Cleveland winning it. Unfortunately, this is a horrible matchup for Indians who lost every game this year to Yanks though they never faced Sabathia. Yanks have lost 2 divisional rounds in a row and I can't see them losing 3 in a row. Fact they had to battle to get in will serve them well here as Rivera is a big edge over Borowski despite Joe leading league in saves. Look for Wang and Pettite to possibly bring Yanks back to NY with 2-0 lead.
My pick: Yankees

Chicago vs Arizona....Both teams are offensively challenged so this series will be low scoring games and come down to which team hits better. Though it pains me to say it, that team will be the Chicago Cubs. I look for Big Lou in the dugout to be a big edge and for the big 3 of Cubs (Soriano, Ramirez, and Lee) to be the leaders they are looking for offensively.
My pick: Chicago Cubs

Philadelphia vs Colorado....This is the series that intrigues me the most. Both teams had miracle comebacks down the stretch to get into the playoffs despite pitching deficiencies. Neither have made playoffs for long time and in fact only second time ever for the Rockies. This will be a very offensive series with difference likely boiling down to the bullpens. I like Phillies slightly better than Rocks which I think will be the difference in the end.
My Pick: Phillies

These pick are for series only.

i agree on all but the cle/ny series. i think the indians can at least split at home with c.c./carmona and then manage a split in ny to force a game 5 with c.c. on full rest. i just feel the longer the series goes benefits the tribe with the top 2 starters. best of luck kojak appreciate all your insights.

you know c.c sucks against Yankees?? his career against yankees is something like 1-6 or 1-7 and ERA of 6.00

i realize this, but he hasn't faced them since sept. 1 2004. he has since become much more of a picther who has matured and even developed a wicked slider that he didnt have then. he is now a cy young candidate and one of a few indians with postseason experience.
