I have them winning about 10 games this year...I do see them winning this week in Wash.
The Lost to the Eagles I thought was a Trap game, as we know what happened there !
But Just look at what they did vs. Minny !! they had lost the last 10 games when facing them. So Anything can happen !

Being bad every year for 7 years or so it seems like the next year people say they will be much improved but it hasn't happened. I think if they win this game alot of non-believers will jump on the bandwagon but not willing to say it because how bad they have got pounded in Washington in the past.
It's not easy, I know!!!I 100% agree with your 3 points but not sure anyone thinks they are any better than they are. Really have 3 games they should have won (Oakland, Minnesota and Chicago (in Detroit helped that one) )
One thing they have going for them is they have a top 10 offense and that should get them out of the dumps of the NFL that they have resided in for almost the whole decade. Give me them 7 wins and I think most Lions fans would be pretty happy (sad but true).

Krieg yes. Mirer seems to ring a bell being there once but I am almost positive he never took a snap for them. Think he got cut in the middle f the season one year.
Heard a Wayne Fones interview the other day and they asked him the #1 reason the lions have never been good and he said they have never had a top notch QB. Makes sense. 35 years without a pro bowl season from your QB makes it hard to be an elite team.
It isnt from trying. 1st rounders: Harrington, Ware, Long, and a high priced free agent Mitchell means they do try every 5 years or so.
