The playoffs get under way today and I could not be more excited that the Chicago Cubs are in fact in the playoffs. I tracked baseball and the happenings all 162 games long (fantasy baseball helps). I will tart off with the ALDS matchups and who I think will win since the BoSox play tonight. I will have the smallest series play to win on the Rockies/Phillies series and will probably bet their games game by game. The other three series have more worth and I have a definite better feel for these three. Cubs vs. D-Bags analysis will be available and be posted during the Rockies vs. Phillies game.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox (-155)
Los Angeles come to Boston finish 4-6 in their last ten games with Lackey winning in both of his outtings vs. the Mariners and the A's, neither having near the offensive power that the Red Sox have. Wakefield, Schilling, and Beckett defeated the Angels in the first three meeting of the season. Red Sox are getting the green light in 4 games vs. the Angels.

Key Stats
Beckett vs. LA Angels
1-0 6.0 IP 1 ER
Lackey vs. Boston Red Sox
0-2 9.2 IP and 10 ER

Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees (-180)
The Yankees plaed better baseball then anyone in the second half of the season and the A-Rod show continued throughout the year. This offense is very nasty when Matsui chimes in. The Yankees come into playoffs after sweeping the Red Sox and managing to come all the way back and win the Wild Card. This team is on a mission, as it seems that way every September. Jeter and A-Rod, YEAH A-ROD in the playoffs, will win them this series with Cleveland. Its going to take the Yankees in 5 to get the series and calm down the Indians just enough to advance and play the Sox.

Key Stats
A-Rod, A-Rod, and A-Rod
Yankees swept the Indians this season 6-0
Carmona vs. Yankees
0-1 7.0 IP 8 H 4 ER

Chicago Cubs Countdown vs. D-bags 8 hours and 53 minutes!!!

I'm just going to continue to quote this post and add onto the plays, they will be listed in black unbolded font. The Cubs hit the ball hard last night but the D-Bags and their two long bombs was enough damage. to get the ball done.
