I live bet at Matchbook.

For those of you who have not played at MB, you are not betting with the house. You are betting with other people who are on line at the time.

You put out an offer, and people can take it or not.

Just prior to the snap, most of the offers are paused to the outcome of the play.

Sometimes you can get lucky and someone is slow to withdraw their offer, and you can STEAL some $, after a big pass play, or a turnover.

I have watched, and if the game is on abc/nbc/cbs the time it takes to get the signal to my home can varry from channel to channel, by as much as 3 secs.

My question, is what is the delay from the field to my home? If the Delay is 5-8 secs or more, I think a person with a web based phone could make a KILLING live betting at the game.

TV delay does vary, 3 Secs is a fair guess but the further away you are the loger the delay so Me in Ireland will be well behind you, Radio can be up to 2 minutes behind especially streaming on the net. However, there is also a delay between you and Matchbooks server which although slight will give me an advantage over you seeing as their based in Gibraltar. I feel this sort of plotting is a well trodden corridor and detracts from the real fundamental of winning in play, knowing your Odds. Once you know them you control the play regardless of any other angles. :drink:
